The Friends of the University of Newcastle will be holding the 2011 Book Fair in the Great Hall, starting on Saturday 6 August and finishing on the afternoon of Saturday 13 August.
This is a great opportunity to fill your book shelves with some great bargains and help the University at the same time. Over the past ten years a number of projects has been funded by the Friends.
A feature of the Book Fair is the Slow Auction of Rare Books. Specially selected items are catalogued and prospective purchasers are able to make bids throughout the Fair, with a formal auction terminating the process on the last day.
